This text was written, compiled and edited by Dr. Ed Block, Department of English, and chair of the Sabbatical Review Committee, 1989-1990. It was approved by the Sabbatical Review Committee 1989-1990 at their May, 1990 meeting. Dr. Block and the committee wish to thank members of the Sabbatical Review Committee of 1982-1983, for information and questions borrowed from their "Tips Concerning Sabbatical Leaves," which this brochure updates and replaces.
