18th Annual Rec Plex Golf Scramble June 6, 2013

Our tournament has grown tremendously over the past years becoming extremely successful. Golfer participation has flourished from 179 in 2001 to over 270 in the past few years.

This year's event will be held at the Silver Spring Country Club in Menomonee Falls, WI on Thursday, June 6, 2013. We will use a double shotgun start at 9:30am utilizing both Island and Falls courses.

Tournament Format

Players must check in at least 30 minutes prior to tee-time.

Four Person Scramble

Individuals can form teams with requested groups or be randomly assigned.
There will be three divisions: Men's, Women's, and Mixed.
The Tournament will be conducted as a four-person scramble. The team will use the best shot among all four players.

The Scramble has been very successful in uniting the Milwaukee and Marquette communities with an atmosphere that has been fun and fulfilling. Over the past 15 years, the tournament has provided necessary funds to support Recreational Sports, the National Youth Sports Program and recently The Robert H. Koster Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Marquette University is pleased to announce the proceeds from the Rec Plex Golf Scramble will now benefit The Breadwinner Scholarship. This special fund was established 30 years ago to provide critical financial aid to students who have lost their “breadwinner” parent during their undergraduate years. In the ensuing years, more than 250 students have benefited from the fund. Last year six students received Breadwinner Scholarships and were able to come back to Marquette to continue their studies.
