Getting My Diploma Do I get my diploma at the graduation ceremony? Blue diploma covers are issued at May and December graduation ceremonies; the actual diplomas are conferred at the May ceremonies only. August and December graduates pick up their diplomas at the Office of the Registrar in Marquette Hall, Room 310 or make other arrangements to receive diplomas. How else can I get my diploma? If you were unable to attend May Commencement or if you graduated in August or December, there are three ways you can receive you diploma: Visit the Office of the Registrar in Marquette Hall, Room 310 with a photo ID to pick up your diploma. Authorize another person to pick up your diploma. Please write a brief letter requesting a specific person receive your diploma. Make sure you sign the letter; the Registrar cannot release the diploma without your signature.
