Issue 68.2 features articles that discuss Chaucer's The Second Nun's Prologue and Tale, the novels of Denise Giardina, Mary, Lady Chudleign's "Song: To Lerinda," and Virginia Woolf's figures of thought. In the Editor's Note, Editor John Curran announces the winner of the Joseph M. Schwartz Memorial Award for the best essay from Volumes 66-67. This issue also includes an insightful interview with Carolyn Forché by Editor Emeritus Ed Block.
Special Issue with Marilynne Robinson Out Now!
Issue 66.2, our special issue on Marilynne Robinson is out now! It features articles that look at Housekeeping, Gilead, and subjectivity and the possibility of change in the novels of Marilynne Robinson. This issue also includes an interview by Rebecca M. Painter with Marilynne Robinson. Additionally, Assistant Editor Sareene Proodian was influential with getting this issue and its interview out smoothly.
Special Issue on Flannery O'Connor
Issue 65.5, our special issue on Flannery O'Connor is out now!
It features articles that discuss her short stories and has a painting of "Parker's Back" by Barry Moser. We are extremely proud of this issue as it was also guest-edited by a previous Assistant Editor, Katy Leedy.

Volume 65, Issue 4 mailed out
Our summer issue was mailed out and we are looking
forward to our next issue, 65.5, which is a special issue on
Flannery O'Connor. The special issue is guest edited by Katy Leedy, the previous Assistant Editor. Projected publishing date is in November. (August 19, 2013)
Volume 65, Issue 3 mailed out
We just mailed out our Spring issue! We are currently working on our summer issue, which features articles on Othello, The Third Man, Oedipus, Human Chain, and Troilus and Criseyde. The next issue should be out in June. Check back for more updates.
Joseph M. Schwartz Lecture
This year the lecture is on Wednesday, April 10th at 4PM in the Lunda Room of the AMU at Marquette University. Professor Thomas Wortham, Emeritus Professor of English at UCLA, and former editor of Nineteenth-Century Literature, will present “William Dean Howells’ Spiritual Quest(ioning) in a ‘World Come of Age.’” This lecture is the featured essay in the Spring issue.

Our latest issue, 65.2, has just come back from the printer and will be mailed out on Monday. Our next issue, 65.3, is our Schwartz Lecture special issue. Keep checking our website for information on the issue and the lecture that will be held in April.
