What should researchers expect for IRB approval times?

Exempt Protocols: 1-2 Weeks

Amendments: 1-2 Weeks

Expedited Protocols: Approximately 4 weeks

Full Review Protocols: Must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the meeting

Do projects approved by another institution's IRB require approval by Marquette's IRB?

All graduate student thesis and dissertation projects involving human subjects must be reviewed and approved by the IRB prior to conducting the research.
