Marquette's Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)
is responsible for the oversight and evaluation of animal-related activities at the university. The IACUC members are assigned by the University’s Institutional Official and consist of at least one scientist, one veterinarian, one non-scientist, and one non-affiliated member. As required, at least five members serve on the IACUC. In addition to the IACUC, there is also a Chief Executive Officer, Institutional Official, facility directors, animal facilities director, animal facility supervisor, animal care technicians, and students who are all involved with animal use and care at Marquette.
