Technical Sergeant Brittany Potter is the NCOIC of Personnel for Air Force ROTC Detachment 930, at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is responsible for personnel actions for four active duty Air Force members and 71 cadets. She was assigned to AFROTC, Detachment 930 effective 17 November 2014.
Sergeant Potter completed Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in January 2003. During her 11-year career as a personnelist, she has served in various administrative support roles. She began her career at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma as a customer service technician, then as a Commander’s Support Staff Technician for the 56th Airlift Squadron. She significantly contributed to the 56th Airlift Squadron’s deactivation as it was moved to Kelly Air Force Base, Texas. She was later assigned to the 97th Operations Support Squadron as a Personnel Technician for the Commander’s Support Staff. She was reassigned in 2008 to serve a remote tour at Osan Air Base, South Korea, where she worked as NCOIC, Commander’s Support Staff, servicing over four squadrons in the 51st Medical Group.
Directly following her tour in Osan, she was assigned to Travis Air Force Base, California. She served various positions as a Unit Deployment Manager for the 60th Force Support Squadron and Wing Personnel Programs Manager for the current inactive 615th Contingency Response Wing. After the inactivation of the 615th Contingency Response Wing, she further supported the tenant unit as Commander’s Support Staff Technician for the 573d Global Support Squadron in 2012 and as NCOIC, Commander’s Support Staff, 571st Mobility Support Advisory Squadron in 2013.
