LTC Kaderavek then pursued his M.B.A. at Harvard Business School and graduated with distinction in 2003. From 2003-2005, he taught microeconomics, macroeconomics, and financial accounting as an Assistant Professor of Economics at West Point.
After a year at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, attending the Command and General Staff College, LTC Kaderavek joined 6-8 Cavalry of the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia in July 2006. There, he became the squadron executive officer. After intense training and deployment preparation, he fought with the Mustang squadron throughout a 14 month tour in the Arab Jabour region of Iraq. He completed his “Rock of the Marne” tour as the squadron executive officer in May 2009.
LTC Kaderavek currently serves as the Commander and Professor of Military Science at Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
LTC Kaderavek is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College, the Armor Officer Basic and Advance Courses, the Combined Arms Services and Staff School, the Master Fitness Trainer Course, Ranger, Airborne, and Air Assault Schools.
LTC Kaderavek holds a Master of Business Administration with Distinction Degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematical Economics from West Point.
LTC Kaderavek’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (2 olc), the Army Commendation Medal (2 olc), the Army Achievement Medal (2 olc), the National Defense Service Medal (2d Awd), the Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Star, the Iraqi Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, and the Overseas Ribbon.
LTC Kaderavek is married to Catherine and has three children: Sarah (10), Grace (7), and Emma (4).
