Each year the Student Affairs Assessment Team hosts training workshops and webinars to help staff members enhance their skills and improve their assessment practice. A complete schedule of training will be available here at the beginning of each semester. Topics for previous training experiences have included:
- Survey design and question writing
- Designing an assessment project from start to finish
- Adding focus groups to your assessment plan
- Qualitative data analysis
- How to write an effective learning outcome statement
- Strategies for developing a rubric instrument
- Basic statistics and quantitative analysis
- Reporting and sharing assessment results
