Take I-43 S ramp to I-94 E. Take exit 311 for 6th St toward WI-59/National Ave and keep left at the fork to continue toward S 6th St. Turn right at W Greenfield Ave and left onto S 23rd St.
Days/Hours of Operation: Services Learners are needed at the clinic on Mondays from 3:00pm-6:00pm and Tuesdays from 1:00pm-4:00pm.

Description of Agency/ Activities: Southside Health Center is a free walk in clinic that provides a variety of services including immunizations, health assessments, vision, hearing and blood pressure tests, pregnancy tests, and counseling and referral services for local area residents. Southside Health Center also processes applications for government medical insurance through the Medical Assistance Outreach Program.
Student Role at Agency: Students will help clients with limited proficiency in English fill out forms and go through the clinic process. Students will also be invited to shadow translators while they interpret for nurses giving immunizations. Tuesdays are Walk-In Clinic days that provide immunizations to children under 18 years old.
Other requirements: This site requires a TB test and immunization records. Service Learning will hold a 2-day TB Test Clinic on campus. The Student Health Services fee for this test is $5, made payable by cash or check.
