Class Notes — A broadband internet connection (cable modem/DSL) is strongly recommended. The course management tool D2L will run on Windows 2000, XP or Vista operating systems, as well as Macintosh computers running OS X. Software requirements include Microsoft Office, and the usual suite of plugins such as Quicktime, Acrobat reader, Java, and Flash Player. The recommended web browser is IE 6 for Windows and Firefox 2 for Macintosh. IE 7, Netscape 7.2, Firefox 1.5 and Firefox 2 for Windows; and Netscape 7.2, Safari 1.3, Safari 2, Firefox 1.5 and Firefox 2 for Macintosh are also supported. Safari 3 for Macintosh is not supported at this time.
