Current Research
Using Narrative data, my current research project focuses on single
African American men who have chosen to parent full-time. The fathers
discuss what motivated them to be custodial parents, how fatherhood
affects their identities, what parental roles and behavioral expectations
define their parenting styles, and how they are affected by the
experience. If you are a single Black full-time dad or know of one
who would be interested in participating as a respondent, please let me know.
Past Research
