John has taught courses in Anthropology and Sociology including Introduction to Anthropology, Biological Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology, Human Geography, Urban Anthropology, Principles of Sociology, The Family, The Life Course, Sociology of Aging, and Statistics. John's dissertation research is a fascinating ethnography of urban gardeners.
