Dr. Miller's teaching interests include sociological theory, social interaction, and the sociology of troubles. Dr. Miller's research has made him one of the world's foremost authorities on solution-focused therapy, and over the past few years, Gales has lectured across North America, Japan, East Asia, Europe and England. Having published 24 books and dozens of scholarly articles, Dr. Miller is among the most productive scholars at Marquette. He is also among our finest teachers.
