The Application Process

• Get an application in the main office of the Department of Social and Cultural Sciences, LL 340. When you are done, please return it to LL 340.
  
  
• Attend the mandatory group orientation meeting
  
  
• Interview with the internship coordinator
  
  
• Interview with a potential placement
  
  
• Confirm placement with the internship coordinator
  
  
• After securing a placement, register for SOWJ 193, CRLS 193, SOCI 193 or ANTH 193
  
  
• Placements must be secured and finalized with the agency and internship coordinator by the last day of the fall or spring semester preceding the beginning of the internship.
  
  
• Be prepared to begin your internship the first week of class
