Speech Patholology and Audiology student

The services of the Marquette University Speech and Hearing Clinic are available to Marquette students and their dependents, at no cost. Available services include speech and hearing evaluations, and therapy for communication disorders. For questions or more information please contact Joseph Peddicord, clinic secretary, at (414) 288-7426 or via e-mail.  The Marquette University Speech and Hearing Clinic is located at 604 N. 16th Street, Harriet Barker Cramer Hall Room 104A, Milwaukee, WI 53323. Entrance for clinic parking is on 17th street between Wisconsin and Clybourn.



Our Speech and Hearing Clinic is training ground for Marquette University's speech pathology and audiology program. All diagnosis and therapy is closely supervised by clinical staff who are certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and licensed by the State of Wisconsin.


Referrals are accepted from any source. Diagnostic and therapy summary reports are provided upon written request.

Age Group

From 24 months through adolescence, adults, and geriatrics.


Speech/language and/or hearing evaluation: $75

Therapy fees per 10-week semester:

Fee Schedule

No one is denied services because of inability to pay. Arrangements can be made to reduce fees if payment cannot be met.

An initial speech and language diagnostic will be scheduled. Evaluating personnel will determine if you or your child would benefit from therapy, and will make appropriate recommendations.

Therapy Times

The Speech and Hearing Clinic operates on a semester basis, including summer. If no immediate openings are available, every effort will be made to enroll you or your child in the next semester. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. During summer months, diagnosis and therapy sessions are held mornings only.
