Assessment plays a crucial role in the work of student affairs professionals. It's how we empirically determine the impact of our work.

Here are some resources that demonstrate the importance of assessment in our work.

Data is collected and used for a number of reasons: to inform practices, to make improvements to service, to assess what our students are learning and how. Data is also shared with colleagues at peer institutions to inform them of best practices in co-curricular areas as well. If you would like to share how you're using data to make decisions, please contact Jen Reid in Student Affairs.
