Clinical Laboratory Science
Information learned in medical labs affects more than 70 percent of medical decisions. Clinical laboratory scientists analyze bodily fluids and tissues to identify strains of infectious diseases, anemias, toxic substances in the blood stream, cardiac and cancer markers and more. Using their expertise, knowledge, laboratory skills and astute ability to collect and analyze data, these scientists make incalculable contributions to the diagnosis and management of disease.
