Marquette University's residence halls offer many opportunities for students to get involved. Apart from just participating in organized programs and activities, students have a chance to become proactive through different hall organizations.

Hall Council, the Residence Hall Association and the National Residence Hall Honorary are all great ways for students to become involved in the shaping of their living environments.


HALL TRADITIONS
All of Marquette's residence halls have unique hall traditions that contribute to their special atmosphere. Here are a few examples: Sweet & Sour (Carpenter) Tower, Women's Wellness Week, Very Special Arts, O'D Pig Roast, Mashuda First Fridays, McCormick Goes to the Movies (MGM), Straz on Stage.

LATE NIGHT & WEEKEND EVENTS
Looking for something to do in the later hours? Look to Late Night Marquette. Try cosmic bowling, late show movies, karaoke and more.

INTRAMURAL SPORTS
A wide variety of intramural sports, from water polo to football, are available for teams and individuals through Recreational Sports.

HALL STORE MOVIE SERIES
Another great feature of Marquette's residence halls and apartments is the Hall Store Movie Series. Available on Channel 95, the rotation changes monthly and shows new releases and old favorites, ensuring a pleasurable viewing experience for film buffs of all varieties.

WE ARE RESIDENCE LIFE
The Office of Residence Life is composed of a dynamic group of talented individuals who work together toward the common goal of providing a rewarding experience for the students living within Marquette’s residence halls and apartment buildings.

Our professional staff includes not only our central office team, but also residence hall directors and hall ministers who live and work in each of our residence halls. The other half of the Residence Life team is our student employees. Resident Assistants work closely with specific floors and wings of students; Facilities Managers maintain the living environments. Assistant Hall Directors and Apartment Managers complete the Residence Life staff.

Combining a highly trained and experienced professional staff with energetic and talented student employees, Residence Life aims for nothing short of the best team possible.
