MARQUETTE'S DIFFERENCE
Find a cause. Social justice is one of Marquette’s core values, and it’s at the heart of the College of Education. We won’t just arm you with the knowledge and skills you’ll need to succeed — we’ll also show you how you can change the world from your spot in the classroom.
Looking beyond your bachelor’s? The College of Education’s secondary education program was ranked in the top 100 in USNews and World Report’s “America’s Best Graduate Schools 2007.”
Learn from nationally known faculty who continue to innovate the field with their research in areas such as special education, counseling and educational psychology.
Our location in the heart of Wisconsin’s largest city and the state’s biggest public school system gives you a unique perspective and appreciation for the diverse ways students — young and adult — learn.
Our collaboration with Milwaukee’s public and private schools means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to practice what you’re learning through field experiences in schools around the city. You’ll observe, assist and teach in a variety of school settings through the Milwaukee area: urban, suburban, bilingual, public and parochial.
