Student groups at Marquette have been actively working to make our campus, community and city a better place for years. Many of these groups focus on social justice and community outreach.

There are also many organizations in Milwaukee that would be glad for you to lend a hand. Visit the websites below to find out how you can get involved, become a member, or volunteer.

 

Check out Milwaukee's Urban Ecology Center, where children learn about science, nature and how to live sustainably. The center offers volunteer and internship opportunities.

The Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin seeks to make the state a better place to bicycle through advocacy, education and coordination. Volunteer or become a member.

Fresh Fall Farmers' Markets

MUSG, Sodexo, The Center for Health Education & Promotion, The Office of Sustainability, The Office of Residence Life, and the Alumni Memorial Union want to help you get into the fall spirit by hosting a series of Fresh Fall Farmer’s Markets to be held on Wednesday, September 5th, Tuesday September 18th and Wednesday October 3rd from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in West Towne Square (Rainsite: Olin Overhang).
