Rev. Aaron Pidel, S.J. (Ph.D. University of Notre Dame, 2017), is a Jesuit from U.S. Central-Southern Province of the Society of Jesus. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame in Systematic Theology. His dissertation is titled: The Ecclesiology of Erich Przywara, S.J., advised by John Betz.

His interests include Ecclesiology, Theological Hermeneutics, and the Jesuit Theological Tradition. He is currently working on articles on Erich Przywara's Ignatian ecclesiology and his position on the relationship between nature and grace.
