Associate
Professor
Michael
Duffey (Ph.D., University of Notre Dame [1981]), [Systematics/Ethics],
specializes in theological ethics with particular attention to
issues of justice and peace and Protestant and Catholic ethical
methodologies. He is the author of nine articles in professional
journals (e.g., Linacre Quarterly, The Thomist,
America) and three books: Be Blessed in What You Do
(New York: Paulist Press, 1988), Peacemaking Christians: The
Future of Just War, Pacifism, and Nonviolence (Sheed and Ward,
1995), and Sowing Justice, Reaping Peace: Case Studies of Racial,
Religious, and Ethic Healing Around the World (Sheed and Ward,
2001). Dr. Duffey co-directs the University's Interdisciplinary
Minor in Justice and Peace Studies. His current research concerns
the role of the churches in Central America in post conflict healing
and development.
