Since the beginning of its Ph.D. in Religious Studies program in 1966 the Department of Theology has awarded more than 320 doctoral degrees. On the basis of current information available to the Department, 78% of this number are currently teaching or have taught in over 130 different institutions in the United States and around the world, while a further 18% have gone on to hold other theology-related jobs, including assignments in churches, church-related agencies, publishers, and research organizations.
