Fr. John Thiede SJ

 

Reverend John S. Thiede, S.J., a doctoral candidate in systematic theology at the University of Notre Dame, served as Reverend Francis Wade S.J. Scholar during the spring 2012 semester, while working on his dissertation, “The Reality of Martyrdom in the Christology of Jon Sobrino.” Fr. Thiede has an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, a Certificate of Philosophy from the Catholic Pontifical University of Santiago, Chile, and a Master of Divinity degree from the Weston Jesuit School of Theology. He presented "Archbishop Oscar Romero: Exemplary Martyr" May 1, 2012.
