Dr. Shannon Schrein, OSF

Professor and Chair of the Department of Theological Studies at Lourdes College in Sylvania, Ohio, Sister Shannon (Ph.D. 1995) has been a leader in Catholic theological education. She has been Vice President of the College Theology Society (2009-2011) and its Executive Director of Conventions (2000-2005). Having taught at Alverno College in Milwaukee from 1993-1998 and Lourdes College since, she has received a number of accolades for her teaching in the classroom. Her publications include a recent article on forgiveness and reconciliation as well as Quilting and Braiding: The Feminist Christologies of Sallie McFague and Elizabeth A.Johnson in Conversation (Liturgical Press, 1998).
