Task Force on Family Violence   

The Task Force on Family Violence of Milwaukee provides advocacy, education, and access to services to empower people to lead lives free from domestic violence.

Milwaukee Women's Center 

The Milwaukee Women's Center (MWC) was founded in 1980 as an emergency shelter for battered women and children. Today, the agency is the largest and most comprehensive family violence service agency in the state of Wisconsin.  

The Healing Center    

The Healing Center offers sexual abuse and assault survivors and their loved ones opportunities for healing through support, advocacy and community education. The Healing Center offers support groups for the abuse survivor, and education and advocacy on the issues of sexual abuse and assault, incest, rape and child sexual abuse.  

Sojourner Truth House    

Sojourner Truth House is a leader in the community effort that offers every victim of domestic violence access to effective and complete programs required to achieve a life free of violence. They provide shelter, safety, support, education and advocacy to break the cycle of violence because domestic respect is the right of every woman, man and child.

LGBT Community Center

The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center is a community-based organization represented by more than 150 volunteers and over 300 members. It's mission is to improve the quality of life for LGBT people in the Metro Milwaukee area. The Anti-Violence Project (AVP) was established to address the impact of domestic abuse, sexual assault and hate crimes on LGBT people by: ucating service providers on the unique needs and concerns of LGBT people, educating and raising awareness within LGBT communities, and connecting victims with appropriate services.
