Brief Description:

This is Marquette's own version of a Kairos Retreat or Search or TEC. Fundamental to this retreat is the peer reflection on the Ignatian charisms, which

has influenced Marquette University as a Jesuit Institution.

On this retreat, you will find yourself;

  • listening to peer's witness to Jesuit Ideals,
  • spending time reflecting on how these ideals are found within your life
  • sharing insights in small groups
  • praying both alone and as a faith community
  • relaxing away from campus with nothing to focus on but yourself and your God
  • having fun!

Retreat Location:

St. Vincent Palotti Retreat Center, Elkhorn, WI

A short 40 minute drive Southwest of Milwaukee in quiet, farm country.

The Retreat Center is on a small, wooded acreage with access to short walking paths. The Retreat Center itself is just like home. The main building is a refurbished home with many quaint bedrooms and corners to find for

quiet prayer. The Retreat Center addition includes a conference room with a fire place, dormitory sleeping for 30, and a chapel. The promise of home cooked meals by Lee and Carolyn have always been the draw for this retreat!

Retreat Cost:

$45 for all transportation, food and

lodging for the entire weekend.

What to pack for this retreat :

All beds have sheets and blankets so

all you need to bring is your own personal

toiletries and a towel. Some bring a blanket

to ward off the chill.

Other necessaries include:

- A Bible

- A pen and Journal or paper to write on

- your own water bottle and coffee mug

for the drink dispensers.

- Musical instruments if you own one and

want to share your talents!

- A snack to share and a beverage to share!
