- Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Places You'll Go!

Who is this retreat for?

Any graduating 4th or 5th year Senior at Marquette University.

What is the cost?

$45 covers transportation, food and lodging for the entire weekend.

When do I arrive and when will we return?

It begins at 5 pm on Friday, February 22nd. Please be be at University Ministry with your bellies full. We will either carpool to the retreat or travel by bus. We return back to campus by 1pm on Sunday, February 24.

Where is it located?

The beautiful Pallotti Retreat Center outside Elkhorn, Wisconsin. It is roughly 50 miles southwest of Milwaukee. There are many nooks and crannies in this renovated old house with a few walking paths through the forests in the surronding area. If there is snow, there isn't a bad hill to sled on!

What is planned for this rereat?

The plan for this retreat is to allow for time for self care, dialogue with your peers, reminisce and discern the future. To do these things there will be a world cafe discussion evening, guest speakers on vocation choices and discernment, prayer and reflections, a panel of recent graduates and simply time to be on your own to discern your needs and how God is to be a part of your choices.

What do I pack?

- Bring your own mug for coffee and nalgene for cold water.

- Pack warm, comfortable clothes to lounge around in.

- Pack clothes/boots to walk outside with.

- No need for towels or bedding, but you could bring one blanket to snuggle in if you get cold.

- Personal toiletries: toothbrush, soap, contact stuff, shower stuff, etc. You know the drill!

- A snack to share and a beverage to share!!! This is your last retreat so make these good! :)

- Leave behind your watches, cell phones, ipods, etc

“With courage greater than your fear, jump into the unknown and you will fly.” Unknown.

"There is no place so awake and alive [and scary!]

as the edge of becoming!" -Sue Monk Kidd

Fifty years from now it will not matter what kind of car you drove,
What kind of house you lived in,
How much you had in your bank account, or what your clothes looked like.

But the world may be a little better because you were important in the life of a child.
