"Going
to Belize will open your eyes to a world, a people,
and a part of your self you had no idea existed before.
Palm trees, the Caribbean Ocean, Mayan Villages, homemade
drums and woodcarvings, tropical sunshine, international
travel, meeting and working with people of different
cultures, challenging yourself, and making life long
memories. How could you not want to experience
Belize."
Ian Knox,
2005 Graduate from the School of Business
"For
me, Belize was ten wonderful days of living simply,
praying deeply, enjoying the beauty of nature, and learning
new things about myself and what direction I want to
take in life. The people who live there were so genuinely
kind and were more than willing to share their stories
with us. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend
it!"

"It's
true that one can and should do service at home, in
their community, in their country. There's a lot
to be done. But there is something special about going
to a place like Belize. It is more than the service.
Going to Belize helped me build relationships with people
I otherwise would have never met and it opened my eyes
to another type of perspective on life, walking in someone
else's shoes. Stepping out of my comfort zone in Belize
allowed me to let down my guard and take in all of the
beautiful people and experiences around me. It
is truly one of the best things I have ever done."
