The Gathering Points series is sponsored by the Marquette University Office of Mission and Identity as a service to our students and the Milwaukee Cathoic community. Gathering Points was created to provide opportunities for Catholics of all perspectives and backgrounds to prayerfully enrich their understanding and engage in substantive dialogue about Church issues.

Mission Week
Each February, the Marquette community pauses to reflect on our university's Catholic, Jusuit mission. Mission week is the time set aside to recall our larger purpose and the Ignatian heritage and spirituality that guide us throughout the year. The theme for Mission Week 2006 was "Human Dignity, Human Rights: A Call to Service, " featuring keynote speaker Paul Rusesabagina, subject of the film Hotel Rwanda.
