Mission Council
The ownership of the Catholic, Jesuit mission of Marquette University belongs to all members of the university community. and each Marquette community member is encouraged to understand and appropriate our mission in his or her work.
The Office of Mission and Identity serves as a resource and catalyst for the efforts of faculty, staff administrators, and the board of trustees to deepen and energize their engagement with the mission. Toward this end, we offer educational and spiritual programs, facilitate dialogue, and promote networking opportunities on mission issues.
The work of the office benefits from the input and advice of the Mission Council, a consultative body of persons throughout the university who offer guidance and provide a broad perspective on mission effectieness. The Mission Council meets quarterly.
