Curriculum Enhancement Grants are available only to faculty members in order to create courses with a particular emphasis on diversity issues.
Marquette Excellence in Diversity Grants are available to all faculty, staff, and administrators. These grants are intended to provide small start-up and/or shortfall monies for a variety of projects or events in which members of the Marquette community are presently engaged or that they may wish to initiate. Although the requirements are broad, the primary criterion for receiving these grants is that the project be clearly connected with increasing an awareness of, and commitment to, diversity at Marquette.
The Dr. Ralph H. Metcalfe, Sr. Chair presents faculty with the opportunity to bring to Marquette outstanding scholars and professionals of color (particularly those of African descent) to enrich the academic life of our students and faculty.
