The Fifth Annual Go Move Challenge is set to begin! This year there are 19 Jesuit Institutions competing to see which university is the most active!
Every minute intentional, physical movement counts in this challenge as faculty and staff compete to determine which university is the most active. Movement is defined as any intentional exercise that causes at least a small increase in breathing or heart rate. To help Marquette win, you'll need to track every minute that you move your body each day from February 1-28, 2017.
We will host a Kick-off Event in the Helfaer Rec Center Gym from 11:30-1:30 on February 1, 2017. There will be free activities to help you jumpstart the challenge - walking, volleyball skills, free throw contest, pickleball skills, and futsal skills - plus local fitness studios offering yoga, pilates and other physical activities. Prizes will be raffled off every 30 minutes, plus we'll help you sign up for the challenge and have some free snacks. Plus, just for coming to our kick-off event will give you a 40% off coupon to Adidas Outdoor's online store. Don't forget to support the American Cancer Society and participate in our Suits and Sneakers Challenge. Donate $5 and wear your sneakers to work on February 1, 2017. You can also help support the American Cancer Society by purchasing tickets to the MU mens basketball game against Providence on January 28, 2017 or by bring a cash donation to our kickoff event.
