Instrument Maker
Joe,the new research instrument maker for the College of Arts
and Sciences, has been a journeyman Tool and Die Maker since 1982.
After an apprenticeship at Modine Manufacturing Company in Racine,
he worked as shop supervisor at Allis Tool in West Allis, as tooling
engineer at Accutec in Oak Creek, as working supervisor at both
Circon-Surgitek in Racine and the College of Engineering and Applied
Science at UW-Milwaukee. Joe holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies
from UW-Parskside. He lives in Racine where he has been the Cubmaster
at Wadewitz School in Racine, served on an allocations panel for
United Way of Racine County and served as an elder and Sunday
School teacher at First Reformed Church in Racine. Joe actually
enjoys working with students and is a graduate student in political
science at Marquette. He is married with 2 children and 4 grandsons.
