Associate Professor
Zbigniew Sorbjan received his degrees
(M.Sc. Degree
in
Technical Meteorology and Hydrology; and Ph.D. in Technical Meteorology)
from Warsaw Polytechnical University in Poland. In 1991
he received his Habil Degree in Meteorology from the Polish Academy
of Sciences in Warsaw. Throughout his professional career
he has performed scientific research specializing in boundary
layer meteorology, diffusion, and turbulence.
Dr. Sorbjan taught at:

- University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Department of Geosciences
- Marquette University, Milwaukee, Department of Physics
- Purdue University, West Lafayette, Department of Earth and
Atmospheric Sciences
Dr. Sorbjan has authored several books and more than 50 publications
in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. In
2003 Dr. Sorbjan was elected as a member of the Scientific Advisory
Board of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management in
Warsaw, Poland.
