The East just got bigger!

Marquette is embracing its move to the Big East Conference in more ways than one. Athletically, we are very excited to compete against such great teams as Georgetown, Notre Dame and Connecticut. But we're looking forward to the opportunity to reconnect with our East Coast alumni in a variety of other ways as well.

Young Alumni

Young Alumni Association hits its mark


The Young Alumni Association in Milwaukee was recognized this spring as an interest-based chapter of the Marquette University Alumni Association. With a constituency of over 5,000, this group has been active in creating interesting programs and events, thereby expanding the "Marquette experience" that keeps alumni engaged with the university.

Billman Triplets
Amy (Yung) Billman, Nurs '98, and Robert Billman, Eng '99, became the parents of triplets in January. Hannah, Sarah and Charles are age five months in this photo.
 
Hamm St. John Gintoft
Christopher Hamm, Arts '65, just completed a three-week transit on Wisconsin's flagship, the S/V Denis Sullivan, doing archival photography for Pier Wisconsin. Michael St. John, Bus Ad '91, is president of 360 Advisors, Inc., an investment advisory firm specializing in group retirement plans and other group benefit programs. Ethel (Gary) Gintoft, Jour '46, Grad '69, will receive the Woman of the Year Award from the Sisters of the Divine Savior at a reception on Sept. 29 at the Sisters' Community House Chapel.
