Interdisciplinary programs utilize the skills from a variety of disciplines to understand and resolve complex issues. Because students in these majors develop skills in multiple disciplines, they are able to integrate diverse bodies of knowledge and develop creative solutions. With majors as diverse as Environmental Studies, Bioinformatics and Latin American Studies, graduates from Interdisciplinary programs are poised to enter careers in both traditional and emerging fields.
