COVID-19 Internship Resources

A message from Dr. Kunz

With health and safety the number one priority for the community, we are taking the following actions for ARSC 3987/4988: Career Ready Internship with Professional Development Seminar/Advanced Internship Experience.

  • Students and employers are encouraged to communicate and to move their internship experience online if possible and are providing guidelines for remote internships
  • We will be waiving the remaining hours and weeks work requirement for students for the remainder of the semester if they are unable to continue their internship remotely and/or have a physical safety or health concern
  • Information will be forthcoming about additional/supplemental assignments for students who are unable to continue their internship remotely
  • Information will be forthcoming about remaining online assignments for ASRC 3987/4988
  • Students should be sent the files (see forms below) as soon as possible and are encouraged to answer the survey questions so that we can better assist them moving forward.
  • Internship site supervisors should be sent the email attached titled “Employers COVID -19” by students

Forms for students and employers

Thank you for your patience as we work on alternative arrangements for students to be successful in completing their internships.

If students are ending their internship, they will need to supply me with the following: internship information, start date, end date, hours completed, and reason for leaving.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions, and also to forward this message to anyone else who may be organizing internships this semester. Thanks for all your help and know that we are willing to work with each student to reach the best outcome possible!
