Business Major Lunch & Learns

Career Exploration & Networking
Through the new Lunch & Learn series, students will have the opportunity to learn about career paths in business and build networking relationships with professionals.  Lunches will be open to all students with promotion efforts focusing on freshmen and sophomore students to support career exploration and decision-making.  Students may attend based on an interest in the major represented or to learn more about career possibilities.

Lunch Format
The Lunch & Learn program will utilize an "open house" format so students may attend around their class schedules. Students will join professionals at lunch tables in rooms throughout the second floor of the College of Business Administration to network in a personalized environment.  Every 15-20 minutes, we will ask students to rotate tables to maximize networking and new conversations.

Professionals interested in participating are asked to attend for as much of the 2-hour lunch as possible.  A primary goal for the lunches is to help students learn about career paths within different majors.  While there are branding benefits for your company based on a professional’s participation (wearing company attire for example), Business Career Center staff ask professionals to focus on highlighting experiences in the career path rather than promoting a particular employer.
