A Decade of Excellence: 10 Year Celebration

The Center for Real Estate celebrated its 10 year anniversary on Friday, November 2nd, 2018. More than 200 people were in attendance to celebrate and honor Dr. Mark Eppli, Peter and Betty Bell, and the 45 Founding Members of the Center who donated $650,000 to establish the Center in 2008. Special additions to the evening included a tribute from Marquette University President Dr. Michael R. Lovell, a student reflection by Heather Dorfler (Bus Ad ’19), and a video focusing on alumni success stories.

Andy Hunt, Director of the Center for Real Estate, and Dr. Anthony Pennington-Cross, Robert B. Bell, Sr. Chair in Real Estate, gave the opening comments welcoming everyone and previewing the evening.

Heather Dorfler, a senior real estate and finance student, gave a reflection honoring Dr. Mark Eppli, the inaugural Robert B. Bell, Sr. Chair in Real Estate in 2002 and founding Director of the Center for Real Estate in 2008.

President Dr. Michael R. Lovell addressed the audience and honored the commitment of Peter and Betty Bell and family in establishing the Robert B. Bell, Sr. Chair in Real Estate at Marquette University in 2001, which honored Peter’s father and led to the establishment and foundation of the entire real estate program.
