Baccalaureate Mass

“You have fought the good fight and finished the race” (2 Tim 4:7)

A vital part of graduation weekend is the celebration of the Baccalaureate Mass on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. at the Al McGuire Center. In past years, graduates and their families have found this Mass to be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this milestone of life and to give thanks to God for the blessings received throughout their years at Marquette.

Family and friends are invited to join in this liturgical celebration, there is no limitation on the number of guests that graduates may bring. No registration is required.  Graduates should plan to sit with their families and/or friends during Mass.  There will not be assigned seating for graduates.

Graduates are encouraged to wear academic regalia (no caps) and process in at the start of the liturgy.  Graduates will be invited to line up for the entrance procession at 3:15 p.m.  An announcement with specific directions for lining up will be given at the Al.

Following the procession, graduates will return to sit with their family and/or friends.
