Other Prayer Opportunities

Other prayer opportunities occur each semester. Join us for these moments of prayer.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

Adoration of the exposed Blessed Sacrament takes place Tuesdays from 5 - 9 pm, and Wednesdays from 8 - 11 am in the Chapel of the Holy Family, AMU 236. This is a great opportunity offered each week to pray before the Blessed Sacrament. If you are interested in being a guardian of the Blessed Sacrament, please Megan Heeder, Liturgy Assistant.

The Rosary is a Scripture-based prayer. It is meant to lead one into restful and contemplative prayer related to each mystery. At Marquette, we gather daily to pray the rosary at various times:

  • Monday - 9 p.m., Eucharistic chapel, AMU
  • Tuesday-Friday - 5:15 p.m., Saint Thérèse of Lisieux chapel, The Commons

Seasonal Reconciliation Services

Campus Ministry sponsors Reconciliation Services during both the fall and spring semesters. The Lenten Reconciliation Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 9 at 7:15 pm in the Chapel of the Holy Family. You can also contact Campus Ministry to schedule individual celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Taizé Prayer

Taizé Prayer is filled with song, scripture and silent meditation. This ecumenical form of prayer is modeled on the style as practiced in the Taizé Community in France. Learn more about Taizé Prayer.

If you are interested in a kind of worship opportunity which you do not see represented here, please feel free to contact Grant Garinger, S.J., Liturgical Coordinator, Campus Ministry.
