Throughout your student's or students' time at Marquette University, they will be engaged in the career development process, both directly and indirectly. As a family member, you play a vital role in supporting your student during the career development process, whether that be offering insight, referring them to career services, or aiding them in building their network. This section of our website was created to present ways in which you might introduce the process of career development. 

Marquette University's Career Center staff is available to provide comprehensive career education, and professional preparation services and resources for undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni. Career Counselors, Advisors, and Interns are available to assist your student with a variety of career-related topics such as:

• Major exploration and career development
• Resume and cover letter writing plus other correspondence
• Interviewing techniques and internship/job search strategies
• Networking and professional etiquette
• Graduate and professional school decisions and applications
• Post-graduate service opportunities and applications

Career Center provides students with tools now to prepare them for future professional success. We do all we can to encourage students to be active participants in their ongoing career development.
