Todd Wehr Chemistry Building

Welcome to Marquette University’s Chemistry Department!

The Department is strongly committed to high-quality teaching and research across a broad spectrum of chemical and biochemical sciences. As the central science, Chemistry holds a unique place, and through our graduate and undergraduate programs, we strive to provide first-rate academic training and research opportunities for students. We offer undergraduate B.S. degrees in Chemistry, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (joint with Biological Sciences), and Chemistry for the Professions

At the graduate level, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees are awarded in a variety of specializations. Our instrumentation and facilities are first-class, and enable researchers in the department to probe chemistry at the forefront of their disciplines. You will find in this site much information on our dynamic faculty and staff and their activities and achievements, and I invite you to contact me directly for a personal tour or to obtain more information on our undergraduate and graduate programs!

Milwaukee is a great place on a great lake, and we invite you to join us!

Sincerely yours,

James R. Kincaid
