Continuous Improvement is a critical component in the organizational pursuit of excellence. It is a mindset of always looking for better ways of doing things. Staff and faculty are empowered to improve the way we work by recommending and implementing changes that will add value and gradually improve the efficiency of work processes. The practice of Lean Thinking is a continuous improvement strategy.

The theme goal is to continuously improve university operations to increase efficiencies, sustain shared resources and thrive in tomorrow's competitive higher education landscape. Theme objectives include fostering a culture of organizational effectiveness and ensuring Marquette is positioned to thrive in a competitive landscape of higher education.
