Victoria Fitzgerald, Ph.D.

Victoria Fitzgerald is currently serving Marquette University as the Assistant Dean for College Operations in the College of Education. Victoria has over 20 years of experience in academic administration—most recently as Dean of Instruction and Student Learning at Black Hawk College in Moline, Illinois. Her professional background includes leadership for faculty and curricula in the arts and sciences and in career-based programs; new program development; grant writing and management (e.g., National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Labor); distance education; international programs; and assessment of student learning. Victoria also serves the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association as an AQIP Peer Reviewer and has been a CQIN National Educational Examiner. Additionally, she has taught over 15 years in the disciplines of English, theatre, speech, and communications in public and private K-12 and post-secondary institutions. Victoria also holds current teaching licensure (6-12) in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa.
