EOP COVID-19 Information Page

The following safety protocols have been put into place for students, staff and visitors.

  • When entering Coughlin Hall, everyone must wear a mask that covers the mouth and nose. This mask must be worn at all times when in Coughlin Hall.
  • When entering the 2nd and 3rd floors, temperature checks will occur before entering the main sections of the floors. If your temperature is 100 or above, you will not be allowed on the floor.
  • Only 2 people are allowed on the elevator at a time.
  • Please adhere to all signage posted on the floors.
  • Staff members can be reached through email and phone numbers
  • All advising and other meetings will occur virtually.
  • All tutoring will occur virtually.
  • At no time will EOP have full coverage of staff.
  • Computer labs are at the following limitations:
    • 3rd Floor McGarrity Lab, 11 total
    • 2nd Floor Cudahy Lab, 8 total
    • Both labs will have 2 spaces between each computer. No one is allowed to sit at a computer in which the keyboard has been removed.
    • Masks must be worn at all times.
  • The open spaces on both sides of the 2nd and 3rd floors are available with the following limitations:
    • One person per table
    • Tables must be spaced apart at least 6ft
    • Masks must be worn at all times.
  • Students and staff lounge areas (kitchens) are limited to two people at a time. At no time will additional people be allowed in the lounges.
    • Coffee and tea machines are off limits.
    • Microwaves can be used. Make sure to clean before use.
    • Refrigerators can be used. All food must be removed daily or it will be disposed of by the cleaning staff.
  • The high tables directly in front of the 3rd floor elevators are off limits. This area must remain clear for the safety of EOP staff members doing daily temperature checks
  • Water fountains can be used only for filling up bottles.

We understand this is not how EOP usually operates. For the safety of all, these safety protocols must be adhered to. The safety of our students, staff and the Marquette community is of the utmost importance.
