FitPass - Group Fitness Classes

Marquette Wellness offers onsite group fitness classes for employees and spouses. Three, 15-week sessions are offered throughout the year. With the purchase of a FitPass, you can attend any classes offered throughout the week. A Fitpass + CrossFit is needed to attend CrossFit classes. 

 

Marquette Wellness Center

The Marquette Wellness Center is a FREE, wellness space dedicated to faculty and staff on campus. The space can be used for workouts, meditation, or even wellness related events. The Marquette Wellness Center is open 24/7 and includes a conference room, a fitness area, two changing rooms with showers, two restrooms, and a quiet space/work area. You must complete the online liability waiver to be granted card swipe access to the space. 

  

The Department of Recreational Sports

Indoor recreation facilities at Marquette University include the Helfaer Tennis Stadium and Recreation Center and the Rec Plex. Memberships are available to faculty and staff. The recreation facilities provide a variety of group fitness classes, instructional programs and intramural sports for employees to participate in. Fitness and wellness services including fitness assessments, personal training, and massage therapy are also offered to faculty and staff.

 

Outdoor Workout Equipment

Outdoor workout stations are now set up around the Marquette Mile. There are five stations plus an ROTC station. Check out information on how to perform all the exercises

1. Cramer Hall:

  • Knee Lift Station
  • Assisted Functional Trainer

2. Raynor Memorial Library:

  • Horizontal Chip Up
  • Push-Up High/Low
  • Parallel Bars (Accessible)

3. Sensenbrenner Hall:

  • Balance Beam
  • Sit-Up/Back Extension
  • Bench Dip Station

4. Marquette Wellness Center:

  • Balance Board Station
  • Chin-Up High/Low

5. Lalumiere Language Hall:

  • Skill Trainer
  • Body Curl Station
  • Plyometric Boxes

6. ROTC (Coming Soon):

  • Pull Up Bars
  • Up and Over Bar
  • Double Pull Over Bar

Marquette has also developed some additional walking routes around campus, and there are tons of opportunities to be active here in Wisconsin.
