Engineering Institutes FAQs
If any of your questions are not addressed in the following FAQs, please contact the Enrollment Management and Outreach Office at (414)-288-6720.
Do you make any exceptions to the age limits listed on each Institute Program?
No, we do not make age exceptions. Each Institute is specifically crafted to engage with and challenge students within a particular age range.
Will meals be provided?
Unless otherwise stated, meals will not be provided to participants of Institute Programs. A light snack (e.g. pretzels, granola bars etc) will be provided daily.
Where do the Institutes take place?
Each day of the Institute will begin and end in Marquette University’s Engineering Hall (1637 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee WI 53233). Some Institutes include off-site fieldtrips. Specific details about off-site excursions will be shared with the relevant Institute participants.
Do you provide transportation to the Institutes?
We cannot offer transportation to or from the Institutes. Participants will be responsible for arranging individual transportation each day. If your Institute involves a field-trip or off-site excursion, transportation will be provided to and from the offsite location with the day ending at Engineering Hall.
Who teaches the Institutes?
The Institutes will be led and facilitated by a variety of Marquette University faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students.
